EVS is part of the Youth in Action programme, an European Union programme that promotes mobility of young people through international activities with a non-formal education dimension such as youth exchanges, voluntary services, youth initiatives and training of youth workers.EVS is one of the opportunities for young people to get actively involved in European project work. An EVS project gains from intercultural experience, it builds on a trans-national partnership between youth organisations and the volunteer.
ADVIT Moldova has worked on the EVS programme since 2004 and co-ordinates both the hosting and sending of EVS volunteers in the Republic of Moldova. We can be your EVS sending organisation if you are currently resident of Moldova as well as being your hosting organisation if you want to go volunteering to Moldova.
