Your responsibilities as a volunteer
Although you are volunteering for free it’s still necessary to honour your responsibilities to the role in accordance with what the organisation expects of you.
In general terms, here are some of the basic responsibilities which are common to most voluntary organisations.

- Dress according to the work performed
- Conduct and behave appropriately
- Be Punctual and Reliable

Your rights as a volunteer
ADVIT Moldova promotes the following as the basic rights of a volunteer.
As a volunteer you have the right:
- To work in a healthy and safe environment;
- To be interviewed and employed in accordance with equal opportunity and anti-discrimination legislation;
- To be adequately covered by insurance;
- To be given accurate and truthful information about the organisation for which you are working;
- To be given a copy of the organisation’s volunteer policy and any other policy that affects your work;
- Not to replace a paid worker;
- To have a job description and agreed working hours;
- To be provided with orientation to the organisation;
- To be provided with sufficient training for your job.
